Support for Changes in Health
When health changes – your own or a loved one’s – home tasks can quickly become overwhelming. I offer calm, practical support that adapts to your needs, helping you create a space that feels safer, easier, and more manageable during a difficult time

Support for Family and Carers
When someone’s health changes, carers can often end up managing far more at home than they expected. It can be a lot to manage appointments, belongings, routines, safety, and the day‑to‑day running of the house.
I offer calm, practical support to help reduce some of that pressure. This might mean adapting spaces to make them safer, simplifying daily routines, or helping you keep on top of the things that have started to build up.
Support during caregiving can help you:
- create clearer, safer pathways and accessible spaces
- simplify routines so they’re easier for everyone to follow
- reduce visual and mental overwhelm in shared areas
- set up systems that work even when time or energy is limited
There’s no judgement and no expectation to have everything under control. Just steady, thoughtful support to help make home life feel a little more manageable during a demanding time.
Organising for Health Changes
When health needs change, the home often needs small adjustments to stay easier to manage day to day.
Fatigue, mobility shifts, pain, sight changes, memory difficulties, or challenges with focus and executive function can all affect how manageable a home feels day to day.
I offer practical help to make your space easier to use and maintain. This might involve simplifying belongings, adjusting how things are stored, or creating clearer systems that reduce effort, decision‑making, and visual overwhelm.
Support with health‑related organising can help you:
- keep essential items accessible and easy to reach
- reduce visual clutter to support focus and lower stress
- create simple systems that work on low‑energy or low‑capacity days
- adapt rooms to support mobility, safety, or changing physical needs
- make routines feel more achievable when mental health is fluctuating
There’s no expectation to do everything at once. We work gently and at a pace that feels manageable, focusing on changes that genuinely make life easier.
Organising for Later Life
As we get older, many people choose to simplify their belongings, make clearer decisions about what matters most, or get important paperwork in order so things are easier for family in the future. It’s a thoughtful, practical way to reduce stress later on and create a home that feels lighter and more manageable now.
I offer calm, steady support to help with this process. We work gently and at a pace that feels comfortable – whether that’s sorting personal items, organising documents, or making small changes that bring more clarity and ease.
Support at this stage can help you:
- reduce the amount of sorting your family may need to do later
- make decisions about belongings while you’re able to choose
- organise important paperwork so it’s easy to find when needed
- simplify spaces to make daily life feel calmer and more manageable
- create a sense of order and peace of mind for yourself and those you care about
There’s no pressure to make big decisions or clear everything at once. It’s simply a chance to bring more clarity, comfort, and intention into your home.

Bereavement Support
Dealing with the loss of a family member is never easy. The emotional toll can feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to sorting through their belongings. Calm-nest organising can help alleviate some of that burden by assisting you in the process of organising your loved one’s home.
I understand the sensitivity and respect required during this challenging time. I approach each situation with compassion, recognising the importance of preserving memories while helping you make practical decisions.
Opting for professional support after bereavement can:
- Save time and reduce stress, giving you more headspace in a difficult period
- Bring a sense of structure to what can feel like a chaotic experience
- Offer tailored support that meets your family’s needs, with care and empathy at every step
There’s no pressure to rush or “move on”, just steady, respectful guidance to help you navigate this process at your own pace.
How I work
My approach is calm, steady and completely tailored to you. We start by talking about what’s feeling difficult and what kind of support would make life easier. There’s no pressure to work quickly or make big decisions, everything happens at a pace that feels manageable.
I draw on over 12 years of clinical experience in the NHS, supporting people through changes in physical health, mental health, mobility, energy and executive function. That background helps me understand how health and life changes can affect what you need from your home, and how to create systems that make things easier day to day.
During our sessions, you can expect a gentle, non‑judgemental space where things are broken down into clear, achievable steps. We pause often, check in, and adjust as needed. My role is to support you, not to take over or push you into anything that doesn’t feel right. The aim is simply to make your home feel lighter, clearer and easier to manage.

If you’re going through changes in your health or circumstances and feel you’d benefit from some support at home, you’re very welcome to get in touch. We can talk through what you’re finding difficult and explore what kind of help would feel right for you.
