Hi, I’m Sophie – and I help people create calm, supportive spaces that feel good to live in.
I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck or unsure where to begin, whether that’s because of a busy life, changing health, reduced energy, chronic illness, neurodiversity, or simply having too much on your plate.
My approach is gentle, realistic and grounded in my healthcare background, which means I understand how your health, energy and circumstances can shape the way your home feels and functions.
There’s no judgement just calm, steady support.
A healthcare‑informed, emotionally safe approach
Before becoming a professional organiser, I trained and worked in healthcare. That experience shapes everything I do.
It means I support you with:
- compassion rather than pressure
- curiosity rather than judgement
- realistic steps rather than perfection
- an understanding of how your body, brain and life impact your space
My role isn’t to tell you what you “should” be doing.
It’s to help you feel capable, supported and in control again.
Why I started calm-nest organising
I haven’t always been organised. Growing up, there were often clothes on my bedroom floor or dishes waiting for me in the kitchen. I knew how I wanted things to feel, but I didn’t always have the systems or routines to keep on top of things.
When I started working in healthcare, I realised how much calmer and more capable I felt when I stayed on top of tasks. That sense of clarity and structure helped me manage busy days, and over time, I found myself bringing the same approach into my home life too.
I also saw, both personally and through my work, how much our environment affects how we feel. When things build up, it’s harder to rest or think clearly. When things are easier to manage, everything else feels a bit lighter.
Calm-nest organising came from wanting to support people in that same practical way, without judgement, pressure or perfection. Just realistic steps that make everyday life feel a bit more manageable.
What matters to me
- Kindness – you’re treated with respect and without judgement
- Clarity – everything is broken down into simple, manageable steps
- Realism – we work in line with your energy, capacity and circumstances
- Sustainability – small changes that actually last
- Discretion – your home, information and experiences stay private
For your peace of mind
I follow professional standards to make sure you feel safe, respected and supported throughout our work together.
A few words from someone I’ve supported
“Sophie’s calm, non-judgmental presence made it easy to open up about the areas of my home that had been causing me stress for far too long. She brought a gentle structure to the chaos, helping me see possibilities I hadn’t even considered” – Mrs G
